Review

Such a great start for a famous fairytale retelling. I was thinking to find the same old main story in it, like how the step mother and her step sisters are all treating her badly, how her beloved father died and leave her. Little twist in the story change everything, in a good way of course.

Cinder is not the typical helpless cinderella that we knew, who needs fairy godmother to meet her handsome prince. Prince charming alone isn't enough to make her attend the ball. She got her own priority which makes her a strong character. The romance is still there, but it's not the main focus.

The story flew really well, it's engaging and fun and I can't put the book down. I love strong heroine, Cinder is independent and relatable. You got the cinderella vibe with a different taste which is awesome. Look's promising for the series.
